Initiation to end-to-end Supply Chain Management for young professionals (Action Learning Program)

Today’s business models depend largely on Supply Chain Management.

To be successful, enterprises require skilled practitioners to support the com- plex corporate supply chains. How are your goods purchased, how is your planning organized, how is your inventory managed and where is it stored? Just some of the questions that need to be answered if one wants to ensure an e ective management of the supply chain. Finding the right balance between reducing costs, deployed capital, an in- crease in productivity and improved service levels, requires all organizational levels of the company to understand the supply chain (constraints). By apply- ing the principles of ‘learning through fun’ and action learning, PICS Belgium and Solvint provide in a unique way insight to building up this understanding at di erent levels in the organization. In this course we deal with the supply chain basics and how every step along the chain has impact on that balance. GOALS The main goals of this course are to provide to young professionals a strong base allowing them to create value for their company in 3 domains: • Understanding the basic principles of the end-to-end Supply Chain and how they are applied in a company • Gain insights how their job and the job of their supply chain peers impact the company results. • Expand their network and meet other supply chain professionals TARGET GROUP With this course, PICS Belgium and Solvint focus on young professionals who • want to understand the impact of end to end supply chain on a company’s results • have interest in Supply Chain management • are ready to make a switch to supply chain management WHEN • Holiday Express Ghent: 14, 21 and 28/3/2019 or • LITC Laakdal: 26/9 and 3 & 10/10/2019
